Eddy the Eco-Dog is All Ears for the Virtual Earth Day Challenge

This unique virtual Earth Day event is a vehicle to bring the whole world together as it gives kids from all around the globe the unique opportunity to show others what their thoughts and hopes are for planet Earth. To give kids, who want to get creative, the time to really express themselves, the Challenge commences April 11th and runs until April 30th 2002. Eddy the Eco-Dog and his pals invite students to express themselves through: Reporting for the "Paws for the Planet Daily" online newspaper, Composing a poem for Eddy's "Poetry Corner", creating a masterpiece with a drawing for the Chachachawowa Art Gallery, coloring or drawing a cartoon strip with Eddy the Eco-Dog and his pals. Eddy the Eco-Dog, Yolanda, Lixxy and Rosco will admire all the entries and pick 10 from each of the 5 categories to have their creative work displayed on line. All participants will be honored on Eddy the Eco-Dog's Earth Day Honor List.
Eddy the Eco-Dog is not average canine. Raised by intergalactic investigators from Planet Chachachaowa, this is one star-surfer pooch with an uncontrollable curiosity. Intrigued by planet Earth and beyond, Eddy enlists the help of his pals, Yolanda the charismatic cougar, Rosco, the grumpy crocodile and Lixxy, a tomboy dog with a crush on Eddy to discover and explore through a child's eyes.
