Our Planet
By: Kelsey, Age 10

Our Planet, the earth a place we'll always have to live on, with no
escape. We'll spend the rest of our lives here so we might as well keep it
clean. You think that your just a kid and you can't do anything , you're
wrong. You can recycle cans, bottles and paper, pick up garbage or even save
electricity by turning off lights and closing doors.

Planet Pup Left Out
By: Amie, Age 10

Planet Pup was 1 of 5 other dogs and he was 9 years old. He wished that
he could spend more time with her family because he was the youngest so they
would leave him out a lot. So he would go up to his room feeling left out so
he would go up to his room and read, sing and other things like that. One day
he went up to his brother and asked him if he would like to do something
with him but his brother told him to get lost. So once again he went up
stairs and did the same old things he does all the time when he's left out.
One day his brother came to him and asked him to play with him. He said why
should I you turned me down and his brother said he was sorry and he would
never do it again......

these aliens are out to get us. The police say there's nothing to worry
about but I don't believe them you know? Well on the news (if you were
watching) it showed a hidden camera in the bushes and it caught the aliens
discussing something. And you know what they had laser guns. And here they

Magic Glasses?!
By: Hope-Kathleen Elliott, Age 10

Magic Glasses?
Yes they are out there.  Some were on planet Earth, Magic Glasses are lying
around, waiting, waiting for a very lucky person to find them.
In Toronto, Ontario my lucky twin sister found a pair.  We were on our way to
have our eyes checked out by an eye doctor and my sister found a pair of the
weirdest looking purple glasses we had ever seen.  She tried them on and we
were goofing around with them.  She said that they were probably magic.
(Of course when she said this she was just joking.)  So I grabbed them and
put them on and I looked at my scrape that I had on my elbow.  I looked
strait at my scrape and I said "Heal, heal, heal, heal! and suddenly my
scrape vanished.
Here is what my sister says about her Magic Glasses.
My magic Glasses can heal things.  They can heal cuts, bruises, scrapes,
pains, and my teachers favorite things, headaches.  this is how I heal with
my Magic Glasses.  I look strait at the person in pain and say heal four
times.  Then the person is healed.  My Glasses can also make candy out of
thin air.  My friend once asked me for some candy because we were bored and
our teacher was blabbing on and on about something we didn't quite
understand.  "So I said sure, I'll try." I stared at her desk and I
whispered candy four times and suddenly her desk was overflowing with candy.
Also I can read peoples minds.  Only when I have my Glasses on though.  I
really love my Magic Glasses.
Well that's about it, but Be on the look out for weird shiny glasses.

The Bubble Gum Game
By: Alicia, Age 9

once upon a time there was a game called the boobaloo gang game. One day a
little boy named Michael heard all about the game and he new he would fall
in love with it so he got on the internet and he had forgot what it was then
he thought it was the bubble gum game. Then he pressed ~ENTER~ but when he did
a laughing noise started and it said ~~~VIRUS~~~ all over the screen. So the
computer people came and fixed it. The next day he found out what it really
was. So from now on when he finds out about a cool game he writes it down and
puts it in his pocket! ~~~THE END~~~

My Club
By: Nicholas, Age 9

I've created a club called The Green Club. In my club you get badges for
special things you do. Like the giving a hand badge. On the badge there is a
earth, a yellow border, and it says plants around it. You get it if you join.
There is the Leaf badge, the Seed badge, the Germination badge, and more.

In it you learn how to plant, and help the.....ENVIRONMENT!
I promise to write about two badges every day and more information about the
Green Club Eddy.

School's Flooded Under Garbage
By: Janine, Age 14

Who wants to go to a school covered in garbage? Sure, you might find some
neat stuff if you really dig, and it might be a cool jungle gym, but
wouldn't it become stinky after a while? And it WOULD take up a LOT of room.
At my school, William G Davis, last year, each class picked a separate day
to go outside a pick up garbage around the school yard. Of course, we were
all handed a pair of gloves to wear and a garbage bag to put all that
garbage in! Remember, if YOU are going to pick up garbage, wear gloves to
protect your hands. And watch out for sharp objects!

Recycle
By: Quantaya, Age 12

Hi Eddy!
My name is Quantaya. (Pronounced Qwan-tay-uh)
I just joined the Earth Jays!! It seems like a pretty cool
organization. My favorite animal is  a rat. But dogs are my second favorite.
I know you must think that rats are disgusting. But really the are very
docile creatures. Rats even have short little blonde hairs in their tail. It
makes it look like they have no hair at all on their tail. I make sure I
recycle all my pop cans and bottles to help the earth!! I tell all my
friends about recycling too!! Now all my friends are recycling. We even put
together a bottle drive to recycle pop cans, beer cans and bottles, and pop
bottles!!

We raised over $300!!!!
Cool huh? bottle drives give you a lot of moola, but it also helps to keep
the earth clean!!

Eddy, send me an e-mail telling me what you think of bottle drives and
cleaning the earth!!!

BYE!! KEEP RECYCLING EVERYONE!!
